Up here in Northern California, the last few days have been unexpectedly cool and breezy, carrying just the slightest hint of autumn. Summer is still very much here, but we can feel the season beginning to shift—the sun lowering a little earlier on the horizon, the evenings growing cooler, and students heading back to school.

It’s that bittersweet moment when we suddenly realize summer won’t last forever. But it's not over yet!

There are still a few precious weeks of longer days, warm earth, outdoor gatherings, music festivals, dancing and reveling beneath the stars. Perhaps it is the temporal nature of the season that makes it so beautiful—knowing that these golden summer days are winding down and meant to be savored.

Go to one more festival. Take another road trip. Stay up late stargazing. Watch the moonrise. Dance and stretch and be outdoors as much as possible.

Summer invites us into our bodies and back into the natural world. It’s a season of freedom, connection, creative self-expression and play—all things that have inspired Queen of Hearts clothing for more than two decades.
